Tractor and 1,500 km! The Madness of Micha von der Rampe 🚜

Who says you need a plane to get to Mallorca? Singer Micha von der Rampe decided that the “conventional style” wasn’t for him and embarked on the adventure of a lifetime: traveling from Stuttgart to Palma mounted on a tractor!

Journey Highlights
  • The road companion: It is a brand new, red Porsche (restored by Vintage Tractors).
  • Classic style: A beautiful Diesel F308N, classic vintage tractor that, while full of style, doesn’t exceed 35 km/h.
  • Six days of pure endurance: Micha wasn’t just on a stroll.
  • Long hours: He drove about 16 hours a day, starting at dawn and finishing exhausted at 10 p.m.
  • Out in the elements: No air conditioning or closed cabin here.
  • Weathering it all: Micha endured everything from soaking rains to a relentless sun that left his nose as red as his tractor.
  • “Low-cost” budget: Though it seems incredible, the trip was quite economical.
  • Fuel costs: He spent about 314 euros on diesel to cross half of Europe. That’s almost cheaper than paying for excess baggage on an airline!
  • The grand arrival: After traveling more than 1,400 kilometers and taking a ferry from Barcelona, Micha made a triumphant entrance at Megapark in Mallorca, where he was welcomed like the legend he is.
